Hampton Roads Map Illustration shows the beautiful area attractions in the historical Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Just as we can see all the landmarks and points of interest of the area, the exciting museums, amusement parks, and beaches surrounding the school campus, future students choose the CNU to study there.

Christopher Newport University (CNU) is a public university in Newport News, Virginia. The school was founded in 1960 and is named after Christopher Newport, captain of one of the ships that carried Jamestown settlers, the first permanent English settlement in North America.
