It contains the buildings housing most of the school’s classrooms and labs. You may see the Academic Core in the middle of the FGCU Illustrated Campus Map.
In addition, there are three separate housing areas on the periphery of the campus: North Lake, South Village, and West Lake Village. North Lake Village overlooks a beautiful lake.
For instance, there are recreational activities, including boating and water skiing. You can see there an attractive beach along the lakeshore. In addition, there is a new boardwalk and dining facility situated along its waterfront.
Most importantly, the big arias wilderness separates these significant parts of the Florida Gulf Coast University. It has been set aside for environmental preservation. FGCU also constructed several lakes on the campus that are home to large numbers of wildlife; the lakes also help promote the area’s ecology. Environmental sustainability is the principal goal expressed in the university charter.
In conclusion, the map illustrator had to visually shrink all the wilderness and green arias on the illustrated map to present the school’s facilities on a larger scale.
