Choate Rosemary Hall Map Illustration depicts the beautiful historic campus of the school.
The Choate Rosemary Hall is a private, coeducational, college-preparatory boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut, United States. Founded in 1890, it took its present name and began a coeducational system with the 1971 merger of The Choate School for boys and Rosemary Hall for girls.
Choate Rosemary Hall has an outstanding, if not undoubtedly best, academic program and standards. But, first, Choate’s educational program believes that the best preparation for college is a liberal arts education.
Choate students are prominent by their ability, enhanced through experience, to balance those tensions. Perseverance and resilience are balanced with humor and joy. All in our community enjoy learning, but experience teaches that some challenges are not resolved quickly or easily.
